Lake Senftenberg is a former open-cast lignite mine. With a total surface area of approximately 1,350 hectares, it offers not only diving, but also sailing and surfing. Anglers will also find a peaceful spot here. You can learn more about the history of Lake Senftenberg in the Chronik
The club's base is located directly on the lake—or rather, there are 20 steps down to the water. This access allows even the laziest diver to get into the water without stress. Loading and unloading diving equipment is also stress-free, as you can drive right up to the base.
The maximum depth of 18 meters in the "South Sea," as the area is also called, provides the ideal conditions for training. Divers have access to a three-level platform, two wrecks of small passenger ships, and the wreck of a motorboat. There's also a phone booth for underwater phone calls.
There are various other little things to discover. Unfortunately, the situation with fish isn't so good here. They can only survive for a short time due to the slightly acidic groundwater that seeps into this part of the lake. However, there are many more in the main part of the lake. However, anyone interested in microorganisms will find what they're looking for here. At the base, guests can feel at home after a dive. Hot and cold drinks can be purchased directly from us. If you get hungry, there's a snack bar about 100 meters away. The base offers the following:

Cylinder fillings (only with valid TÜV) 200 bar:
- 7ltr = 4,00 €
- 10ltr = 5,00 €
- 12ltr = 6,00 €
- 15ltr = 7,00 €
Important for divers:
When registering, please present the following documents on site:
Certificate of at least beginner level / equivalent OWD
Valid diving certificate
(up to age 40, diving certificate should be no older than 24 months (over age 40, no older than 12 months)
We do NOT accept card payments!!!
